Groovy Music Series (2004-2008)

A series of three exciting software programs for elementary and middle school students. Fun to use, Groovy Music teaches the basics of sound, rhythm, pitch and composition using pictures and animation - progressing to the study of simple notation as well as major and minor scales.

SIBELIUS GROOVY MUSIC DEMONSTRATION ON THE JOHN LENNON EDUCATION BUS

The John Lennon Bus invited a few rocking kids to come onboard and play with Sibelius Groovy software. The only problem was that Groovy is so much fun all the adults and the engineers wanted to play with it just as much as the kids!
 

GEARWIRE'S BILL HOLLAND GETS GROOVY

Sibelius Groovy is a tool Sibelius created targeting children from age 9-11 for a beginner's introduction to music creation. Gearwire's Bill Holland gets groovy as he aims to tackle this program in order to see if he can get any other uses out of it besides it being a children's learning tool.
